we shopped on the way up, not finding a great deal. i did get some decent stuff once there, though.
from zero to five, i got a large pokemon figurine set and trackmaster shake shake bridge. toyworld had two FPTM windmill sets for half price [$25 each], and i finally got wooden railway "introducing james". at the model railway store i got some bits for the thomas n scale layout, and savemart had the tracks that go with the sesame st bus.
friday also saw the delivery from japan of the plarail buzz and alien trains. click their pics to visit the page
the sellers are a lovely older couple and have recently been to canada. they had in their kitchen a tin of tim hortons. talk about a little taste of home!
the bike itself is an 82 and was spent her first 20 years in canada, putting a mere 20,000k on the clock. she came here in 02 and did another 25,000k before coming to me.
it took 6 hours to get home and by then i was sore, stiff and cold. the bike went well the whole way. no decent photos yet, thanks to working hours which sees me home during the dark hours only. wont get any over the weekend either, as i dropped her for a service after work. will pick her up next week.
