pleased to have won, as i have been admiring this set for a while now. it comes with a heap of parts, hopefully enough to rebuild the second coach.
i found this on jauce yesterday, and decided to have a bid. i set my alarm for 1:40am and managed to win it for Y8750, around $110.
pleased to have won, as i have been admiring this set for a while now. it comes with a heap of parts, hopefully enough to rebuild the second coach. i found another matchbox carousel on trademe last week, and was thrilled to win it for $51 plus postage. it gave me 3 new horses for the collection, though one has a broken leg. all up, there are 3 with broken legs unfortunately. i am hoping the carousel itself will provide the parts needed to repair my own one. surprisingly, the mirror surrounds from the top are in remarkable shape, with only a couple of broken clips. i bought this gem on jauce for Y7000. it has arrived at the warehouse, so will do a bit more browsing and see if anything else pops of interest and get it sent.
a few new additions this week already, though the robot is from last week, and the last two i am yet to pay for. the first two pics are links to their respective pages.
the robot works perfectly, and is such a cool toy. just missing one card, which i can try and find. happy with it for $50 plus postage. the thomas track set is quite magic and in basically brand new condition. a really good buy for $6. the eggs i found at vally hospice for $3, missing one shell top. will go again tomorrow and see if its on the floor anywhere. if not, oh well. still a set i didnt have, and the colors are great. the train and boxers i am yet to pay for, and bought them for $20 and $30 respectively. the train is similar to one i already have, but comes with the records and smokestack. the boxers wind up and come with a carrying case. i have also seen a bowling set with a wind up bowling ball. |
