i spent a few days helping blair with his sodor layout, helping with the removal from his garage to the show and back again, and also labelling his cases as trains were taken out to make filling them faster and easier. good to spend time with him for a while. its been ages.
my two tables drew large crowds, the big loader store display especially. many adults were fascinated with it and wanted to know how it worked and where to buy it from, lol.
the minis also caught a bit of attention, with people wanting to know where i got the display stands from. i had the ones i won on facebook to sell, and made about $30 selling them at $4 each.
alan and fay brought along a box of bits they had bought for me. they sold it to me for $20 and it had some decent bits in it, quite a bit of thomas and, best of all, a clear tunnel!! i am keeping the thomas stuff and the rest will be donated..
1day had the nail polish stands again the other day, so i grabbed another 2 to allow for the growth in the collection.
i have, shockingly, located a big, big loader store display on jauce, which closes on friday. mum and i fly out on friday, so will have to bid before we leave and cross my fingers!
i have put my current set on top of my wardrobe with a blanket to keep the sun out. there should be enough room for the jauce set hopefully.
