the courier was delivering the brendam docks auction i got off trademe. its a good looking set, though incomplete. just missing the load, as mentioned earlier. pleased to have it nonetheless.
mums visiting the kids, so i went op shopping alone today, not finding much at all. from savemart, i found a little ho scale car for robs christmas layout.
from there i went to salvation army where i spent a whole $4 and got 3 thomas puzzles and a game.
after that, i hit gonville hospice and got a little cheapo train pencil sharpener from britain and another eastown workshops centenery spoon. nothing from east hospice, but thats not surprising either.
when i got home, dad was back from golf, and surprisingly suggested going to palmerston north in hunt of the new lego movie blu ray. the warehouse has a pack with 3d blu, regular blu, 3d emmet picture and minifig. the local store only got 2 or 3 copies in and sold out quick.
we went to feilding first, which is kinda sorta on the way, and had success, buying the last of 4 copies! we continued to palmy anyway, and i got a stinky pete from toy story 2 for that layout. dont have the train for toy story 2 yet, but will get it one day, and pete is hard to find.
it seems the brighter ones, pictured in the truck above, are from the birthday celebration set, while the other frosty looking ones are from the HIT winter wonderland christmas set.
i quite like how both sets look, and how they fit in with it, so wont be trying too hard to find the correct ones. if i see them, i will try and get them, but its not a major.
