it had a few things wrong with it, it wasnt making proper contact with the track and needed new traction tyres. he put it on the track and it hiccuped along for half a lap, so it was pulled off and paul loosened a spring in the tender. try again, and she was off! took a couple of laps to warm up properly, but she runs like a dream. rob hooked her up to his 9-coach train and even on the steep sections she pulled beautifully. most other locos slow down quite a bit, but she didnt even seem to notice the grades.
for a $20USD goodwill store find, shes mint. both paul and rob are jealous, with rob calling it a piece of junk and that it should be knocked off the track and broken and a few other choice names. i told him if i drop dead, its his, so then he said he would follow me home, rear end me and then back up to make sure, lol.
theres a photo of her here
