didnt spend as much as i had anticipated, struggling to find anything for a while. i was looking at a disney minitrix n scale piece, but it had no price and the guy selling it wouldnt answer txts from the guy running the stall, so i moved on to another.
eventually, i found a potacan potash grain hopper, an ATSF flatdeck with trailer unit for rob, a hippie van and ice cream vendor for the christmas layout.
if the weather is good, i will go again tomorrow on the bike. couldnt really focus with the kids there, had to keep an eye, make sure they werent touching.
from there, we went to the plaza, and i stopped at JB hifi to get the new devilskin cd. they are a kiwi rock band and quite good. normally, i listen to country or easy listening, so they are quite a change for me. its their first album.
surprisingly, i also picked up hell on wheels season 3 dvd. had no idea it was out yet! the same people also do the walking dead, and both are brilliant! hell on wheels focuses on the early american railroads, set not long after the civil war and end of slavery. lots of stunning old west steam engines.
