as expected, the john wilkes coaches have generated much dislike from certain members of the club. rob and paul both agree they match the loco better than the IHC ones, which i might onsell.
the tyco canadiana turned out to be an expensive lemon, which is disappointing, but i think it can be corrected. it runs well but needs a good oil up to stop the high pitched screech it makes as it goes around. it also needs handrails. she still looks good, so thats the main thing.

my jim shore donald duck finally arrived after 2 attempts. the first time, only the box arrived. the second time, he arrived with a huge chip out of his hat. 3rd times the charm and he arrived in perfect condition. been after this ornament for a few years now, and i just love him.
hit the op shops today, as usual. nothing much about, but i did get a tomy thomas and a tomica hypercity rescue diecast vehicle from a bag at savemart.
