we went to both 0-5 stores. the one closest to us, i only found a modern popple.
the other one i got 4 HUGE bags of tomy thomas and also a little wind up wall-e track set. i spent $219 NZD, but it was worth it.
one of the bags had heaps of the colored track from the pull back range, and also 3 of the trees from the same range. i didnt have any of them before, so they were a welcome surprise.
the bags also had a large number of engines... thomas, percy, duck, diesel 10 and a james. they will mostly be used for parts. the kids had great fun pushing them around the floor, hooking and unhooking wagons.
we also hit the savemart stores and others like salvation army and st vinnies. got some awesome finds from them, too. one store had a robin rive teddy for $1, and another had a merrythought rhino for the same price.
i got lots of things to use in my scrapbooks... stickers, pages, buttons and patches. will be good to work on them again.
we stopped at taupo on the way up and i got a tomica over bridge and a box of girders from farmers as they were reduced.
have taken a few photos of the bags, will upload them after work.
its nice to be home and sleeping in my own bed again.
