after that was a club open day where i again ran lego, this time with a halloween theme. the layout ran well, but i must get some more straight tracks. at least another 4, if not more. the layout was popular with the kids, as expected. next step will be "de-spookying" the buildings and replacing with christmas stuff.

once done there, i went to work and started my monthly stocktake. then i went back the next morning to finish up in time to have lunch and attend the scenery seminar at the club.
it was quite informative and we all learned a few new techniques and ideas.
on tuesday, mum and i went to palmy to collect the case for my lego castle. its massive! took both of us to lift it into place on wednesday. it doesnt weigh much, but its bulky and needs to be held properly to prevent cracks in the seams.
while there, we hit the op shops as well. i got parts of two trackmaster sets, the castle quest and one of the logging sets. also some snoopy toys, mum found two teaspoons and few other bits.
