i had a really good time away and wish i hadnt had to come home. i found a total of 3 trackmaster sets, but only bought one due to not having space in my suitcases. i did do well with HO scale stuff though, buying quite a bit from a thrift store in meaford called midas mart. i bought 2 locos for $2.50 each and rolling stock for about $1 a piece.
we went to a show at midland where i made friends with one of the stall holders. she took glenns address and posted me 2 parcels of CP memorabilia from her son.
one of glenns friends, rob, gave me a few things as well, including a large hallmark lionel trains ornament, a button off a uniform and a conductors hat badge. train wise, i was really spoiled.
we spent a bit of time with glenns brothers in the club, and also with his nephews club. it was amazing to learn all these people remembered me from 9 years ago and love me just as much now as they did then. im truly blessed to have them in my life again.
i am hoping to sell my cars collection to help fund my return trip and i aim to move to canada permanently in the future. i just love it there and feel like ive come home.
